Ford F-Series Shifter Mounted Cup Holder

from $80.00

Tired of setting your drinks between your legs in your old Ford? OBS, Bricknose, Dentside and Bullnose! We now have a solution! This cup holder mounts using the existing holes and hardware for your shifter bezel. (Some models will require longer screws, and/or washers). Both cup holder inserts are provided. One is a 3-1/2 opening and the other is 2-5/8. The smaller insert will fit soda cans, the bigger is for stuff like yeti cups and larger cups.

Optional spare change tray will not fit all models. If its not available for the model you select, it will not allow you to choose the tray option so no need to worry. If you are ordering an “Auto Trans” cup holder, the tray for this model attaches to the side and is a phone pocket, not ideal for coins.

Be sure to check out our optional add-ons! Molle Panel holster mount and X-Large Cup Holder Insert

“Model A” Cup holders are going to be used with the corner mounted shift boots. Typically they will have a hard plastic trim ring around the base. Found on MOST all 87-96 F-150’s, and 92-97 F-250/350’s. They will also fit super duties from 98-04. If you lift up the rubber at the bottom of the boot to gain access to the holes you can verify that the mounting holes are in the corners. If they are, then you need a Model A. Without any modification to the boot it will set slightly raised above the cup holder (see image with blue carpet for reference) It is perfectly fine to install this way, or if you would like the boot to set flush, simply trim out the fins that connect the corners, and this will allow the boot to drop down flush on the cup holder.

“Model B” is going to be used with the shift boots that mount on the edges rather than the corners. They do not use a plastic trim ring, typically they have a metal ring at the bottom. You can find these boots on various 4-Speed trucks and various 87-91 F-250/350’s. You will also find these boots on all 80-86 trucks, but remember if its 4WD you will need to use the Model C as this cup holder would contact the t-case shifter due to t-case location on 80-86 trucks. In 80-86 trucks due to the design of the floor pan, the tray portion may set slightly above the floor. You can order the Model B’s with a tray, however you should note it is very cramped at the shifter boot. You can trim the boot, let it bunch up against it, opt for the no tray option or you can move the tray down to the second set of holes, this will put the tray slight off the edge of the cup holder but should clear the boot.

“Model C” is going to be a t-case mounted cup holder used on 80-86 trucks. There are a few rare 87+ trucks with a t-case in the same location as the bullnose trucks, if you have one of those you will need this boot. Otherwise this will be for 80-86 4WD automatic and manual trucks. Please note on this model cup holder you will lose some forward travel on your seat. The seat will stop basically at the edge of your shifter boot.

“Auto Trans” is going to be for 4x4 AUTOMATIC trucks the transfer case shifter mounted on the side of the tunnel. IT WILL NOT FIT MANUAL TRANSMISSION TRUCKS. You will need to check out our other models for manual transmission. The Auto Trans version mounts to the top two existing holes of your t-case shifter bezel. There is an included brace since the thin floor tends to give some movement with only the 2 holes being used. The brace has a hole on the bottom, but it is not necessary to drill into the floor. It will brace just fine only bolted to the cup holder itself. A button head bolt and nylon lock nut will be included for bolting the brace to the cup holder.

“Model D” is going to be your Dentside trucks, 73-79. Due to multiple transmission setups we cannot guarantee it to fit every dent side. But, if your setup looks like the one in these pictures, this is the cup holder is for you. Mounts to the transfer case shifter boot! 4 total mounting screws. Top, bottom and both sides. The side towards the driver, the boot/bezel is slightly bent down matching the contour of the transmission tunnel. Please keep in mind that you will lose some seat travel with this setup as well. So, if you have short legs, I am sorry this setup may not work for you. The seat will stop roughly at the edge of the t-case boot.
